What is there to do at MAGFest?
Short answer: a TON.
Long answer: Besides super awesome events, MAGFest has many on-going shenanigans. Most of these are rooms that are open for 24 hours a day during the con, and there are some events that are spread throughout the hotel. It all depends on what you want to do.
I want to play games!
There's the LAN Room for PC gamers, plenty of Arcade games both old and new, the Video Game Room for those partial to consoles, and the Tabletop Room for card games, board games, and pen-and-paper RPGs. All game rooms are open 24 hours a day throughout the con, and you are encouraged to bring your own equipment and games. For classic console game fans, the Challenge Corner is located in the video game room for your record-breaking enjoyment.
I came for the music!
If you came for the music, you'd probably be interested in the concerts! There's also a 24-hour music room aptly called JamSpace. Essentially a 4-day music jam session, JamSpace is open during most of the con, closed only during the concert.
I want to watch video game movies and shows!
Showing official and fan-made video game movies and shows, it's the 24-hour Video Room! Sit back and relax to watch classics and new shows alike.
What else is there going on at MAGFest?
First of all, don't forget the Marketplace for all your video game and game swag needs! We also have the following on-going events to help you get to know other MAGFest attendees and just have fun!
Save Points
You may find save points at specific locations in the hotel. Being that this is the big-city equivalent of an Inn, it would be criminal not to put a save point somewhere handy.
Check your maps and save your progress at a handy dandy save point. It would SUUUUCK if you had to go back and repeat all that hard work just 'cuz you lost all you HP in a scuffle with a troll, or whatever sinister creatures lurk the dark halls of the hotel.
To save your game, look for the sign that says "Save Point", enter your name, character class, level (age), home village (city/state), important items in your inventory (treasure chest items), the mission you are currently on, and your guild card info (email address, web page url, etc.). Do not touch or remove memory cards while data is saving! And voila! If you lose a life, you will begin from the last point in which you saved.
Treasure Chests
Everyone looooves treasure. Whether it's a healing item, a totally sweet weapon, or an old boot, either way they're quite helpful and have the potential for loads of fun. If it weren't for treasure chests, who knows if our hero would happen to have that one last potion that'll save his hide against Mega-Scary-Boss o'Doom 3rd Form?! Treasure chests rock.

During the MAGFest weekend you may find treasure chests throughout the hotel of all different sizes. If you find one, feel free to walk up to it and open it up and take the sweet goodies inside! The catch is, you have to leave something there for someone else to find.
Don't be a jerk and take without leaving something or leave a candy wrapper or something totally lame like that. Cycle through your inventory and leave something rawkin' for the next hero. It's all about having good times. Pay it forward.
Who knows what you'll find?! Maybe it'll be useful, maybe it'll be weird, maybe it'll just take up space in your inventory. Just get creative and have fun!
