The end of the world may be coming on December 21st, 2012, but not even Nibiru itself can stop MAGFest 11 from coming on January 3-6, 2013 in National Harbor, MD. Stock up on your RadAway, Enertrons, and Pain Peels, because we're prepared to withstand any cataclysm in order to bring you your yearly dose of music, gaming, and guests. We've got a lot planned for this year, so as we get closer to the event, get ready for many exciting announcements...
....like this one! Check out our first sneak peek at the lineup we have for this year.
Guests(many more to be announced):
Kinuyo Yamashita - MAGFest is proud to announce her as our first honored guest for MAGFest 11. Known best as being the composer for Castlevania 1, she's been composing video game music for over 25 years on everything from the Nintendo Entertainment System to the Wii.
Jon St. John - Returning for his fourth MAGFest, the voice of Duke Nukem may or may not be getting too old for this shit.
Bands (many more to be announced):
Bit Brigade - You'll remember them as the guys that play the soundtrack to an entire game, while a live speed-run is being done right on stage. Last year they played Mega Man 2, so who knows what they'll have up their sleeve this year.
Random AKA Mega Ran - For those of you itching for a hip-hop fix, Mega Ran is ready to fill that hole in your heart. His video game inspired beats and rhymes will have your body moving and your arms waving.
Nice kitties:
Sunny - Despite our world coming to an end, she still remains the nicest kitty ever.
Well, what are you waiting for? Come join our band of survivors! Pre-register to get yourself a place in our tribe, and book your hotel room in our wasteland village. Also, big shoutouts to Inverse Phase AKA Mr. MAGFest for finally releasing his Nine Inch Nails chiptune cover album on June 14th!
You ever wonder why MAGFest has so many badass awesome musical acts playing? It's because we have an amazing community of dedicated and talented musicians who want to bring their music to MAGFest so they can show it off to the world. We're busy planning for MAGFest 11, and we need YOUR help to make it the best event it can be.
Are you in a video game cover band? Do you create and play chiptunes live? Do you spin video game songs as a DJ? Are you in a really shitty Protomen cover band? Then try to bring your act to MAGFest! We're accepting applications for main stage and second stage performers, so send an e-mail to music@magfest.org, and show us what you got.

A very good friend of ours here at MAGFest needs your help!! Dac has been working with the MAGFest crew for a few years now, traveling to conventions with the promo team and even co-hosting the charity auction every year.
Long story short, he was diagnosed with Lukemia in Late January and doctors say his best chance to get through this is with a perfect match bone marrow transplant. The only problem is, in the registry right now, there is no match for him.
This is where you come in! Please, click the link, order the FREE kit, and get tested. This is a small favor that is super quick, super free, super painless, and super awesome of you to do. Let's get Dac that match he needs so he can keep rocking with the MAGFamily!
