Actually, I'm in fairly good contact with the Megas, and I think they're currently figuring out if they're going to come or not, regardless of playing. They'll probably shoot to play a short set in Jamspace, perhaps?

Protomen

I tried sending a message to the myspace page but it probably doesnt get checked very often and isnt the most official way to do things. This is at least a little more official i'm sure and i dont know if is too late to get bands. But is there a shot at getting The Protomen at magfest this year? They did just unveil more act 2 material. If they're still accepting bands someone should jump on this, not only are they a great band who plays an amazing set, but its also a good place to get more word out about the new album/sell some if its finished.
