Jamspace

I had an absolute blast working Jamspace again this year. Some of you know that I can play absolutely zero in the way of instruments, so hearing so many talented musicians come in to rock out was a real treat for me. Thank you to everyone who stopped by; you really made the con for me.

That said, we tried some new things this year with Jamspace. We leveled up our equipment and changed the layout of the room with the stage on the back wall instead of the side. We also tried various pre-designated slots for groups to showcase their stuff, through the Chiptunes, DJ, and Open Mic concerts. We also had a pretty bad ass timer projected on the wall to help people keep track of how long they were playing so that everyone had an opportunity. Some things seemed to go well. Some things clearly need to be changed for next year.

For those who stopped by Jamspace - be it for five minutes, five hours, or all five days - what did you like about it this year? What do you think should be changed? Any feedback is welcome so that we can only grow and improve in the future.
