The chiptune concert on Friday (and the game-inspired DJ sets on Saturday) were actually the high point of MAGFest for me. Live music is great (and my primary reason for attending MAGFest), but there is something downright magical about hearing NES instrumentation throb through club speakers. Hosting more chiptune-related artists seems to be a natural avenue of expansion for a festival that celebrates gaming and gaming culture. How about a collaboration with 8 bit peoples?

Also, there was discussion about keeping the jam space open and having more chiptunes and dj sets in the main concert area; I think that's a great idea.
