24 Hour LAN Room
Just like our game room, our LAN center is open 24 hours! The separate LAN area this year will provide extra juice from the hotel so the power won't go out. This will also be in an area that provides gamers with more gaming privacy, a bit less noise (headphones required), and more room for us to expand if necessary. Our LAN will have a few of our own machines, but we highly recommend bringing a PC with the games you want to play already installed on it so you have a seat! We'll be tagging in the LAN center as well, and PCs can be set up for public or private use at MAGFest.

Rules
• BYOC, Bring Your Own Computer. While there is an area to set up your on computer, there is also a set-up of public computers. No food or drink in LAN area, period.
• To check in, show the staff your badge and ID. No Equipment leaves the LAN or Game Room if you don't have the ID the system was checked in under.
• Be sure you have your headphones. Speakers will not be allowed.
• Lock down your computer and designate it private property. Take your keyboard and mouse with you.
• Make sure your computer has the game on it and your box is running the game before the Tournament. If your computer blows up or you need to reinstall things, and the Tournament is about to begin, you could get disqualified. If you need tech support with your PC, our LAN guys will do their best to help you out.
• Be courteous to the other LAN people. Don't cheat. Don't use game cheats, but also don't look over at someone else's screen instead of hunting them down.
• Be gentle with Equipment that isn't yours and respect it. Don't jump onto someone eles's PC without permission, and don't mess with their files, software, etc., if they didn't lock their machine down very well.
• Don't packet flood or hack other's boxes, if we see you doing it, we'll kick you out of the LAN area. No illegal activity on the network. This includes pirating. We don't care if you want to pass some data to a new friend, but MAGFest is not a piracy ring for the latest cracks and warez.
