It's because we have an amazing community of dedicated and talented musicians who want to bring their music to MAGFest so they can show it off to the world. We're busy planning for MAGFest 11, and we need YOUR help to make it the best event it can be.
Are you in a video game cover band? Do you create and play chiptunes live? Do you spin video game songs as a DJ? Are you in a really shitty Protomen cover band? Then try to bring your act to MAGFest! We're accepting applications for main stage and second stage performers, so send an e-mail to music@magfest.org, and show us what you got.

A very good friend of ours here at MAGFest needs your help!! Dac has been working with the MAGFest crew for a few years now, traveling to conventions with the promo team and even co-hosting the charity auction every year.
Long story short, he was diagnosed with Lukemia in Late January and doctors say his best chance to get through this is with a perfect match bone marrow transplant. The only problem is, in the registry right now, there is no match for him.

Mon, 01/16/2012 - 21:47 — Nick The NewbieLadies and gentlemen, everyone on the MAGFest staff would like to thank all of YOU, the attendees, for making MAGFest X the best one in the history of the event. We had 6100 people in attendance this year, which is double that of last year. We hope you enjoyed being there, because we sure as hell enjoyed putting it on for you. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to fill out our Feedback Form. As much as we did right this year, we know there was a lot we could improve on, so let us know what you loved, what you hated, and what you would like to see.
MAGFest will be returning to the Gaylord in National Harbor January 3-6, 2013, and hotel reservations will be opening soon.
