What is MAGFest all about?
In short, MAGFest is a music and video gaming festival run by fans, for fans.

Where did MAGFest start and where is it now?
MAGFest is currently headed by Brendan Becker and his crack team of specialists. The first MAGFest was held September 27-29, 2002, at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood in Roanoke, Virginia. We've had six more MAGFests since then, and they've been a blast! We have grown rapidly to our current size, and about 1,300 people attended MAGFest 7 in January, 2009. MAGFest is currently held in the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia and we love being there!

I want to attend MAGFest! How do I get there?
You should always use a reliable mapping service such as Google Maps or Mapquest, but we have general directions that should help give you an idea of how to get to the Mark Center from wherever you are.

What if I've never been to MAGFest before?
Don't panic! Relax, the hotel has plenty of towels. For everything else, check out our new attendee guidelines to help get the most out of your MAGFest experience!

I've not heard of MAGFest before, is it really that great?
Short answer: Yes!

MAGFest is awesome! What can I do to tell everyone I know about it?
Word of mouth is your best bet! In addition, several people have made promotional videos and flyers to support and promote MAGFest. You can print out the flyer or link to your favorite MAGFest themed video to help get the word out.
