Follow (yes, that means read) these quick tips for the best hotel experience possible:

• You are not billed upon reserving a room. You are only billed for your stay or for a no-show.
• You can cancel your room without a penalty if you do it more than 48 hours before your reservation starts.
• The hotel is not full. You can still get a room. Just call and ask, or attempt to reserve one online.
• Ignore everything hotel sites say about parking. Listen to us about parking instead (and carpool, people)!
• Never tell the hotel you will have more than 4 people in a room.
• If you want to change the type or location of your room, make sure to call them and then try asking at check in.
• Don't forget that you can significantly lower your costs by sharing a room.

Wondering when you should reserve your room for?
For MAGFest 9, stay at the hotel Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Remember, we're not on the New Year holiday this year. If you are preregistered and you want to get there early, maybe consider a room on Wednesday.
