The Music and Gaming Education Symposium (MAGES) is partnering with iThrive to host the iThrive Game Jam!
Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis to attend an invigorating creative event led by internationally known hackathon expert and game sherpa, Brad Hill, as well as iThrive creative director Heidi McDonald. The iThrive Game Jam will give you the resources and practice necessary to be able to pull iThrive's positive psychology design theories into your game products with the goal of increasing important practices like empathy, kindness and gratitude in players.
The jam (a paper prototype jam) will occur on the Thursday of MAGFest, January 5th, from 3:00-Midnight. There will be 50 people allowed, and drinks and give-aways will be provided. As well as a dinner break for participants to get their own meals. No prior game development is necessary - the iThrive Game Jam is open to all, so please let this be your first Jam!
