Benjamin Heckendorn aka Benheck
Born October 19th, 1975, Benjamin J Heckendorn (correct, his full name isn’t “Benheck”) was always interested in video games and electronics modding but didn’t do anything particular with it until 2000. That’s when he built his first project, a portable Atari 2600 gaming system. Since then he’s written a book, built scores of other modded gaming devices, run a “How-To” column on Engadget and released two custom products to a mass-produced market. Currently he is working on Xbox 360 laptops as well as the Xbox 360 version of his Access Controller.
